Vizlegal Community Access Programme launched for civil society organisations working in Irish legal & policy reform
Its 2026/2027 Programme will see subscription fees waived for qualifying registered charities, providing them access to the legal research, litigation management, and workflows used across Irish practice
Organisations preparing submissions to Government, policy papers, or court interventions depend on accurate and current legal information.
We are seeking to engage with NGOs/Civil Society Groups; so that their analysis and submissions can benefit from the access to legal information. Being awarded a fee waiver is not necessarily an endorsement by Vizlegal of your political position.

Vizlegal, the Irish legal data platform, has today launched Vizlegal Community Access, a fee waiver programme offering registered charities working in legal policy, advocacy, courtesy access to its platform for the 2026–27 legal year.
Organisations preparing submissions to Government, policy papers, or court interventions depend on accurate and current legal information, yet many operate with limited funding and small teams. Vizlegal Community Access is intended to remove the cost barrier for that work.
The programme gives civil society teams the same research and tracking tools used by solicitors, barristers, and in-house legal departments across the State. Participating organisations will be able to search court judgments, track High Court cases and filings, receive alerts on hearings and rule changes, and consult AI summaries and Case Timelines across more than 36 official sources, including WRC and Labour Court decisions, planning applications, An Coimisiún Pleanála cases, Data Protection Commission decisions, and CJEU case law.

A limited number of licences is available, capped at two per organisation. To apply, organisations must hold a registered charity number and provide a recent annual report along with copies of recent submissions or position papers.
Applications for the 2026/2027 legal year are open from today through this submission form; and the deadline for application is Monday, 24th August, 5pm.
Vizlegal is an Irish legal data platform working since 2019 with solicitors, barristers, and in-house legal teams across the State, including a number of the top 20 firms and the legal departments of several public bodies.
The platform structures more than 5 million documents from over 36 official sources across Ireland, the UK (England and Wales), and Europe, and is used by more than 3,000 legal professionals.
The focus of Vizlegal’s features are on grounded legal research, litigation workflows and intelligence reporting.
